NEWS! UPDATES AND MORE!

Video On Demand is now available!

WCTV is currently working on bringing Town Government Meetings to

the viewer ONLINE! These meetings include:

Selectmen

School Board

Planning Board

ZBA

Please be patient as we tweak the process to make it this new wonderful addition go as smoothly as possible. Meetings will still be televised LIVE on Channel 20 from the Community Development Department and played back on Channel 20 at

10:30am, 2:30pm and 7:30pm.

From the Studio Coordinator:

I am happy to announce that WCTV now has our government meetings available online via our website.  This option is provided by WCTV's playback system that is used to distribute programming and is hosted by the playback system server.

Please go to www.wctv21.com , click on the Videos on Demand tab and follow the instructions on the site.

For a more direct and quick route you can go to:   wctv.pegcentral.com

Each meeting will be categorized by folders, so when you are on the site, you can choose which meeting you want to watch by selecting the folder ie: Selectmen, School Board, Planning etc...

Once you select your meeting, double click on the video and it will  start to play in a media player. You will have the option to play, pause, skip ahead etc. In the near future, I will also be implementing "chapters" which will be classified under agenda items. If you would like to watch only a portion of a meeting, this tool is helpful.

I will be posting the meetings as they are recorded. Please note that they will not be posted automatically, but it will take time for them to load to the website. I hope to have them up the following day. For example, if Planning Board is Wednesday, then I expect the meeting to be online Thursday afternoon, if all goes well.  I will leave the meetings up for a certain amount a time, then take them down to make room for the next meetings as they occur. Meetings will also be recorded to DVD as usual for archiving.

This is a new process for the studio, and we hope to eliminate any glitches that may occur. Please be patient with the process and do contact me with any feedback/comments you may have.  One of my goals is to keep WCTV as current as possible with other Cable Access Stations. WCTV is one of the few stations in NH to have this implemented, and I hope it will be well received among the community.

Again, please feel free to contact me with any questions.
